Suspect On Loose After Long Island Bank Robbery

A suspect is on the loose after a bank robbery on Long Island.

It happened on Friday night, Jan. 3 at TD Bank on Nesconset Highway in Port Jefferson Station.

A man entered the bank at approximately 6:55 p.m. and demanded cash from an employee, Suffolk County Police said. 

The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer, said police. The suspect then fled the bank on foot.

The suspect was described as white and wearing a mask and dark clothes.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
